Daphne Blake tied to chair

Most times i draw a character in my style, they look 'off'. Because i know the character with a different look. And whatever look i give them is not that look. They are better rendered in the 'style' they were created in (imo).

This can make it very difficult for any fan art i create. And it's part of the reason i prefer to do my own characters; my style is their style.

But with Daphne? She's had so many incarnations, that no one style 'owns' her anymore. She has been rendered with many different looks throughout the years. So when i draw her in my style she doesn't look as 'off' to me. For all i want to believe, maybe i'm just creating yet another incarnation of the famous Damsel In Distress.

About the pic: All that being said, this picture looks 'off' to me. Especially her feet. But i've been trying to draw a lot more characters legs lately as practice. So be prepared for a lot of roughness in that area.
